How to enroll
Take a personalized learning journey with Aalto University Diving into Radical Creativity MOOC. Start from the introductory chapter and navigate freely between other chapters and sub-chapters. How you learn is up to you!
Aalto degree Students
You can explore this course freely, but to gain study credits, you need to first enroll in the course in Sisu. Course code is JOIN-C8001. Then register on this website to create an account.
After logging in, click on Course Overview and start where you like. Once you have completed all 5 introductory chapters and a minimum of 3 sub-chapters within each, you can download an official Aalto University course certificate. The study credits will be added to your record in Sisu automatically.
Everyone else
Register to create an account. After logging in, click on Course Overview, and start from any chapter. You can explore this course freely, but to gain a course Certificate, you need to complete all 5 introductory chapters and a minimum of 3 sub-chapters within each. After successfully completing the course you can download an official Aalto University course Certificate.
What you’ll learn
Youll learn methods for fostering creativity and radical creativity at both individual and organizational levels, along with techniques for leading change. Additionally, the course introduces you to systems thinking and systems change.

Grasp the significance of radical creativity and its possible application to different areas.
Skills of risk-taking
Recognize the skills of risk-taking, coping with uncertainty, and proceeding with not-knowing in building a creative identity.
Creativity methods
Apply different creativity methods to overcome real-life challenges.
Multidisciplinary collaboration
Analyze the dynamics between the individual, the team, and the community in the context of multidisciplinary collaboration.
Systems view, novelty, and innovations
Distinguish the power of radical creativity in shaping the world through systems view, novelty, and innovations.
New ideas & experimentation
Gain self-confidence in developing new ideas, experimenting, and learning from failures.
How to complete the course
This course consists of five chapters and each chapter has multiple sub-chapters. In the course of each sub-chapter, there are assignments that enhance your learning process.
Receive badges
Once you have completed all five introductory chapters and at least three sub-chapters in each, you will receive an official Aalto University certificate.
You will also earn a badge for each chapter (including all sub-chapters) you complete.
Note! The badge will be sent by email, so you must select the option in the My Courses section to allow email notifications.
Finish required activities
The educational content is punctuated with light activities: reflection tasks, tests, case studies, and creativity exercises. Once you have completed all the chapters activities, the chapter will be marked as completed.
Texts are accepted automatically, but we will review them afterwards to ensure they have been completed appropriately.
Share your journey
You can share your course certificates in the Certifications section of your LinkedIn profile, on resumes, or other documents. Also share your badges for completing chapters.
